Computer Model of Heat Transfer in Spark Engines Designed

n_m060(IRAN GREEN PEN) – A computer model of general heat transfer process in spark engines aimed at simulating thermal processes and better understanding of performance of spark engines has been designed.
The model made at Khajeh Nassir-ed-Din Tousi University’s Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is based on compressed thermal capacities and simulates pistons, cylinder blocks and radiators.
The model is capable of predicting heat transfer rates and nstrumental temperatures for internal combustion engines from when the engine starts to warm up to the stable state.
Designers of the model have noted that the time for warming engine depends on thermal masses of various parts which has nothing to do with heat transfer to environment or the dependence is ignorable.
